My take on a hummus recipe


This is yet another hummus recipe because I ate so much of it over the last few weeks. It’s a perfect snack with some bread and vegetables. Obviously I made my own version.

Put all the following ingredients in a blender and mix them all up:

  • 250g of chickpeas (strain the water)
  • 1 pepper (cut into small pieces)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons of tahina
  • a handful of cut parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • a bit of lemon juice
